Trilobe’s Trente-Deux Collection: A Parisian Masterpiece of Independence and Innovation

Seven years after its founding, Trilobe marks a symbolic milestone with the unveiling of the Trente-Deux collection, a groundbreaking line that represents both maturity and independence. Entirely conceived, designed, developed, machined, crafted, decorated, and assembled in Paris at the brand’s new Manufacture, the Trente-Deux embodies the watchmaker’s commitment to doing things differently—rooted in excellence, inventiveness, and passion.

The name “Trente-Deux” holds a deeper significance: it is both the address of Trilobe’s Parisian workshop and the internal code name that has guided more than three years of development. Now, it becomes the manifesto of the brand’s independence, carrying forward the identity that has defined Trilobe since its inception.

X-Nihilo: Trilobe’s First Manufacture Movement
At the heart of the collection lies the X-Nihilo calibre, the brand’s first fully in-house Manufacture movement. Its bold architecture features an open island design that frames an exposed, magnified balance wheel, offering not only technical precision but also a striking visual statement. With a 42-hour power reserve, finely finished bridges, hand-bevelled angles, and black-polished details, the movement exemplifies haute horlogerie craftsmanship.

The oscillating weight, made of tungsten, has been openworked to reveal the balance wheel, supported by a traditional-inspired bridge. Equipped with four regulation screws, the balance ensures long-term accuracy and stability, while an innovative safety pin system protects the movement from shocks. Viewed through the sapphire caseback, the movement appears to float in space, amplified by a mirror-polished inner case that creates an illusion of depth.

A Sculptural Steel Signature
The case and integrated steel bracelet are designed as a cohesive whole.

The bracelet’s satin-brushed and bevelled links taper fluidly to embrace the wrist, while polished interlinks echo Trilobe’s signature motif and create a subtle play of light. Double-folding clasp, free of visible push buttons, provides clean aesthetics and intuitive handling.

The case is built from seven individually finished elements, forming a sculptural silhouette with chamfered tiers, asymmetrical fins, and a bevelled mid-case. The fluted bezel alternates mirror-polished ridges with matte-finished grooves, while a newly designed crown integrates seamlessly into the watch’s refined geometry. At just 39.5mm in diameter, the case balances modern presence with understated elegance.

Reimagined Dial Architecture
Remaining true to Trilobe’s iconic off-centre time display, the Trente-Deux dial introduces a new architecture inspired by the Nuit Fantastique.

A thin, wide chapter ring—both satin-brushed and mirror-polished—anchors the dial, echoing the finish of the bracelet.

The discs for hours and minutes feature grained textures, while the seconds wheel combines azurage with Clous de Paris guilloché for a tactile interplay of surfaces.

Available in grey or blue, the dial embodies a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic.

The Trilobe L’Heure Trente-Deux retails at SGD 27,600 with tax, a timepiece that represents not only a technical and artistic triumph but also a declaration of identity, maturity, and vision.
