Samsung Electronics has expanded its popular Galaxy A Series with the launch of the Galaxy A17 5G, Galaxy A17, and Galaxy A07.

The Galaxy A17 introduces several AI-powered capabilities inspired by the flagship Galaxy S Series, bringing Samsung’s vision of making advanced technology more widely available.
Users can now activate Gemini by pressing and holding the side button, or enjoy Gemini Live for hands-free, voice-activated interactions across apps such as Spotify, Google, and Samsung services. In addition, Circle to Search with Google is supported, allowing users to circle on-screen content or instantly search for music playing nearby — providing intuitive ways to access information on the go.
Creativity and Entertainment, Made Easy
The Galaxy A17 enhances mobile photography with improved optical image stabilisation, enabling shake-free videos and clearer images in low light. Its versatile triple-camera system combines a 50MP Wide, 5MP Ultrawide, and 2MP sensor for capturing vivid memories in any setting. Both the Galaxy A17 and Galaxy A07 feature a large 6.7-inch display.
The A17 steps up with a vibrant Super AMOLED screen. With a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and upgraded processors, both models deliver immersive gaming, streaming, and multitasking experiences. Long-lasting batteries with 25W Fast Charging ensure users stay connected with minimal interruptions throughout the day.
Future-ready Security and Reliability
Security remains central to the Galaxy A Series. Both the Galaxy A17 and A07 come with Samsung Knox Vault, a dedicated hardware-based solution to safeguard sensitive data.
They also feature Theft Protection, which allows remote screen locking and forced biometric authentication to block unauthorised access. Meanwhile, Auto Blocker prevents the installation of harmful apps and protects against malicious activity. With six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates, users can be assured of long-term reliability.
Durable, Lightweight, and Stylish
The Galaxy A17 and A07 combine durability with a sleek design. Built with Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP), both models are lighter and slimmer than their predecessors. The Galaxy A17 also incorporates Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus®+ on the front for added protection, and both devices carry an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
At just 7.5mm thick and weighing under 200 grams, the Galaxy A17 balances sturdiness with portability. The Galaxy A07 is even lighter at 184 grams, making it comfortable for all-day use.

In line with Samsung’s commitment to digital inclusivity, the company is launching a lighthearted comic series titled “Uncle & Aunty Get Smart(Phone)”. The series highlights how features like Circle to Search and Gemini Live make everyday tasks easier, while built-in protections like Samsung Knox and Auto Blocker ensure peace of mind.
Available in English and Mandarin at Samsung Experience Stores and online, the comic supports Singapore’s Digital for Life movement, encouraging people of all ages to embrace technology with confidence.
Local Pricing and Availability
The new Galaxy A Series devices will be available in Singapore from 5 September 2025 at Samsung Experience Stores and major consumer electronics and IT retailers. The Galaxy A17 LTE variant will be available from 10 October 2025.
The Galaxy A17 5G will retail at SGD 298 in Black, Grey, and Blue, while the Galaxy A17 LTE will be priced at SGD 268 and offered in Black, Silver, and Light Blue.
