ASUS ROG Strix Helios II Brings Premium Design and Cooling Power to PC Builders

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the ROG Strix Helios II, a premium mid-tower gaming case built for gamers who want a statement piece as much as a performance powerhouse. With its tempered glass side panels, striking aluminium front grille, and cooling-focused design, the Helios II is engineered for showcase builds that combine style, airflow, and DIY convenience.

Bold Design Meets Showcase Aesthetics
The Helios II is designed to stand out in any battlestation. Available in black, white, or a limited Miku edition, the chassis features a diamond-grille aluminium front panel with a noise-reducing 3D-structured filter. A 3D-embossed ROG logo highlights its premium design, while the tempered glass side panels allow builders to proudly display their internal components and RGB lighting setups.

This case isn’t just about looks — it’s form also serves function. The slatted front design ensures a wide stream of airflow, keeping high-performance components cool even during marathon gaming sessions.

Maximum Airflow and Cooling Potential
Thermals are at the heart of the Helios II’s design. It comes pre-installed with four oversized 140mm x 28mm fans (three intake, one exhaust) that deliver superior airflow at quieter noise levels compared to standard fans.

Builders looking to push liquid cooling further will appreciate the dual 360mm radiator support at the front and top panels, with enough clearance for setups like the ROG Ryuo IV SLC 360 ARGB AIO cooler paired with the ROG Astral LC GeForce RTX 5090 GPU.

Built for DIY Enthusiasts
The Helios II is a dream chassis for custom PC builders. It supports EATX motherboards and graphics cards up to 450mm in length, including the largest NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 50 Series GPUs, whether mounted vertically or horizontally.

DIY-friendly features include:

● One-key-release tempered glass side panels for easy access

● Tool-free PCIe® expansion card mount

● Rear detachable PSU bracket for smoother installation

● 33mm of cable routing space with covers and clips for neat cable management

● ARGB and fan controller hub supporting up to 6 ARGB components and 6 PWM fans

These optimisations make the building process seamless, ensuring enthusiasts can focus on fine-tuning their rigs without the usual hassles.

Gamer-Friendly Quality of Life
The front I/O panel of the Helios II is stacked with connectivity: four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, two USB 20Gbps Type-C® ports with 60W fast charging, a hybrid audio jack, and dedicated power, reset, and RGB lighting controls.

This turns the case into a hub not only for gaming but also for powering up mobile devices and peripherals.

A pair of reinforced X-shaped woven straps on the top of the chassis makes it portable.

Availability and Pricing
The ROG Strix Helios II will be available in Singapore from early September 2025. The black edition will retail at SGD 569, the white edition at SGD 579, and the special Miku edition at SGD 629, which is expected to arrive later in September.
