ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has officially announced the availability of the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG and XG32UCWG, the world’s first 4K WOLED gaming monitors to feature the new TrueBlack Glossy film.
This innovative zero-haze coating reduces ambient reflections by 38% compared to previous glossy WOLED panels, preserving deep blacks and clarity even under bright lighting conditions. Designed for gamers who demand both performance and visual fidelity, the new monitors combine cutting-edge refresh rates, advanced OLED protection, and a space-saving design to redefine the high-end gaming display experience.
Both models feature 32-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) WOLED panels with ultra-fast grey-to-grey response times of 0.03ms. The XG32UCWMG delivers up to 240Hz refresh rate, while the XG32UCWG offers 165Hz, ensuring smooth motion in today’s most graphically intensive games. For competitive players, each monitor also includes a unique dual-mode feature that enables a quick toggle to Full HD resolution, unlocking an extraordinary 480Hz refresh rate on the XG32UCWMG and 330Hz on the XG32UCWG. Combined with ASUS’s Extreme Low Motion Blur and OLED Anti-Flicker technologies, gamers can expect fluid motion, reduced eye strain, and uncompromised clarity even during marathon sessions.
The Strix OLED XG32U series also introduces ASUS OLED Care Pro, a suite of features designed to protect the panel from burn-in and extend its lifespan. These include pixel refresh cycles, automatic image shifting, and brightness limiting for static elements like logos. A new Neo Proximity sensor further enhances panel protection by detecting when the user steps away, dimming the screen automatically and instantly restoring brightness when they return. The detection distance is customizable through the on-screen display, offering greater flexibility. For added confidence, ASUS backs each monitor with a comprehensive three-year burn-in warranty.
In terms of design, the monitors are equipped with an ultracompact stand that has a 45% smaller footprint compared to previous 32-inch ROG OLED models. The stand supports full tilt, swivel, and height adjustments, giving gamers ergonomic flexibility while freeing up desk space. Meanwhile, the ASUS Clear Pixel Edge algorithm eliminates colour fringing on text and fine details, making the XG32U series equally suitable for productivity tasks such as coding or content creation.
The Strix OLED XG32U monitors are also feature-rich when it comes to connectivity. Both models include two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, USB-C with 15W power delivery, and a headphone jack, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of gaming rigs and devices. Built-in Auto KVM switching allows users to control two PCs or laptops with a single keyboard and mouse, while the DisplayWidget Centre software provides easy access to picture modes, updates, and system settings with just a click.
The ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG and XG32UCWG will be available in Singapore from mid-September 2025, priced at SGD 1549 and SGD 1349, respectively.
