Jabra, a global leader in professional audio solutions, has introduced the PanaCast 40 VBS, the first Android-powered video bar built specifically for small meeting rooms. Equipped with a 180° field of view (FoV), it ensures every participant is included in the conversation, no matter where they’re seated. Building on the success of the larger PanaCast 50 VBS, this new solution offers the same cutting-edge performance in a more compact and cost-efficient design tailored for smaller spaces.
As organisations adapt to hybrid work and return-to-office strategies, small meeting rooms, huddle spaces, and phone booths are increasingly vital. Yet, these spaces often lack proper video conferencing equipment or struggle to deliver inclusive collaboration, leaving participants out of frame or conversations uneven. The PanaCast 40 VBS addresses these challenges by offering an all-in-one solution that transforms small spaces into high-performing collaboration hubs with crystal-clear video and audio.
“The modern workplace is being redefined, with small rooms playing a central role in driving collaboration and productivity,” said Rayson Seow, Country Manager, Enterprise, Singapore. “These spaces are often overlooked by traditional solutions, and that’s the gap the PanaCast 40 VBS fills. With its intuitive, future-proof Android platform, it empowers teams to connect seamlessly, no matter the room size or meeting platform.”
The PanaCast 40 VBS comes packed with features designed for simplicity, reliability, and flexibility. Dual cameras with 180° FoV and 4x digital zoom capture the full room, while a powerful speaker and six-microphone array, enhanced by intelligent algorithms, ensure every voice is heard clearly. It shares the same touch controller and stand as the PanaCast 50 VBS, allowing for a consistent experience across different spaces.
Installation is streamlined with simplified cable routing and provisioning directly from the box.
This solution is Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP)-based, delivering robust security and enhanced meeting experiences. It’s also compatible with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and BYOD setups, making it easy to deploy across various collaboration environments. The Intelligent Meeting Space feature allows users to personalise boundaries for virtual meetings.
This makes it ideal for open-plan offices or glass-walled rooms. In addition, Jabra+ management ensures the system stays up to date with the latest features. Backed by Jabra Warranty+, the device also offers ADA compliance, a clean, modern design, and practical touches like an easy-clean cover.
The Jabra PanaCast 40 VBS will be available in Singapore starting August 2025 at the following prices:
● PanaCast 40 VBS bar only: SGD 2,206
● PanaCast 40 VBS full solution: SGD 3,235
