ASUS Levels Up with New TUF Gaming Series Five Monitor Lineup Featuring Speed, Immersion, and AI-Powered Gameplay

ASUS is setting a new benchmark for competitive and immersive gaming with the official launch of its TUF Gaming Series Five monitor lineup, unveiled on 25 July 2025. Designed for gamers of all kinds—from competitive esports players to ultrawide cinematic explorers—this new series delivers enhanced performance, vibrant visuals, intuitive controls, and game-optimised AI features.

The TUF Series Five range introduces five core pillars of improvement: lightning-fast speed, ultrasmooth gameplay, vivid colour reproduction, intelligent gaming features, and effortless customisation.

VG27AQML5A, a 27-inch QHD monitor, is built for high-stakes, high-speed gameplay. It boasts a blazing 300Hz refresh rate and 0.3ms response time, coupled with Adaptive Sync, ELMB Sync, and compatibility with both AMD FreeSync™ Premium and NVIDIA® G-SYNC®. The result? Tear-free visuals and razor-sharp motion clarity, even at the highest frame rates.

Not to be outdone, the VG34WQML5A offers a 34-inch ultrawide QHD curved display with a 250Hz (OC) refresh rate and 0.5ms response time, perfect for gamers seeking deep immersion. This model combines a wide field-of-view with rich contrast, thanks to its 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut and VESA DisplayHDR™ 400 support. Whether it’s fast-paced shooters or expansive open worlds, this monitor delivers rich detail and cinematic brilliance.

Both models incorporate ASUS’ Gaming AI suite, featuring innovations like Dynamic Crosshair, which automatically adapts crosshair colour for optimal contrast; Dynamic Shadow Boost, which brightens dark scenes without overexposing bright areas; and AI Visual, which tailors display settings based on on-screen content. These features help gamers stay sharp, focused, and always one step ahead.

Complementing the hardware is the ASUS DisplayWidget Centre, an intuitive software solution that lets users adjust monitor settings, apply firmware updates, and even export or import configurations across monitors—all from a simple interface without diving into the OSD menu.

The new lineup comes in various sizes (23.8 to 34 inches) and resolutions (FHD, QHD, WQHD), ensuring there’s a TUF Series Five monitor for every setup, playstyle, and budget. With advanced panel technologies such as Fast IPS and VA, and features like flicker-free backlighting, low blue light modes, and wide viewing angles, ASUS is prioritising comfort as much as performance.

Both the VG27AQML5A and VG34WQML5A will be available in Singapore by the end of August 2025, setting a new gold standard in the mid-range gaming monitor space.

It retails at $429 and $529, respectively.
