In a groundbreaking collaboration, BEHRENS and Konstantin Chaykin have unveiled the “Ace of Hearts” — a limited-edition mechanical masterpiece that fuses cultural storytelling with avant-garde watchmaking.

A Fusion of East and West
This new collection combines BEHRENS’ classic asymmetry design language, first seen in its acclaimed Ultralight Collection, with Konstantin Chaykin’s iconic “Joker” aesthetic.
While retaining the signature “Joker” dial elements — expressive eyes and a playful smile — this edition introduces a deeper cultural layer: the witty smiling face is inspired by a historical ceramic sculpture from China’s Eastern Han Dynasty, bridging East and West through form and storytelling.
A Face with Character, Powered by Innovation
Dubbed the Ace of Hearts, this expressive timepiece is powered by BEHRENS’ newly developed in-house movement, the BM07 calibre.
Entirely manual, the movement delivers a 46-hour power reserve and supports a display that’s as fun as it’s functional.
The time display features:
● Left Eye – Hours
● Right Eye – Minutes
● Heart-shaped Seconds Hand – crafted using BEHRENS’ patented stone-mill technology, its rotation mimics the rhythm of a grinding wheel
● 12 o’clock – Power Reserve Indicator
Beneath the animated face lies a large-scale skeletonised dial, accented with red trim lines that outline the Joker’s smile, turning the movement itself into part of the watch’s expressive design.
