OPPO has officially introduced its latest tablet, the OPPO Pad 2, in Singapore. Featuring a groundbreaking 7:5 aspect ratio display, a robust Dimensity 9000 platform, and an enhanced user experience, the OPPO Pad 2 establishes a new standard in the world of tablets.
Incorporating a revolutionary 7:5 aspect ratio display, the OPPO Pad 2 offers a comfortable and familiar reading experience, akin to other office tools like PCs, A4 paper, and books. In contrast to traditional 16:10 Android tablets, the OPPO Pad 2 provides a similar screen size with nearly 10% more viewing area.
This aspect ratio is consistently maintained in both full-screen and split-screen modes, ensuring a uniform experience across various usage scenarios. The 11.61-inch screen boasts flagship-level specifications, including a 2800×2000 high resolution for exceptional clarity and image detail. With a 144Hz ultra-high refresh rate, five adaptive refresh rate levels, and ΔE＜2 colour tuning, the display guarantees smooth visuals, remarkable colour accuracy, and support for 1.07 billion colours.
Under the hood, the OPPO Pad 2 is powered by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9000 platform, offering industry-leading performance with efficient power consumption. Its large 9510mAh battery supports up to 12.4 hours of continuous video playback and can be charged to 100% in just 81 minutes with the 67W SUPERVOOCTM flash charge.
For seamless multi-device work, the OPPO Pad 2 supports Multi-Screen Connect 2.0, enabling automatic pairing with smartphones sharing the same OPPO account. This integration allows the tablet to access the phone’s communication features, including calls, texts, and internet connectivity.
Users can also view, edit, and save videos, photos, and files across devices in real time. Notifications and apps from the phone can be displayed and operated on the OPPO Pad 2 through Screen Mirroring, offering flexibility in multi-device workflows.
The tablet’s sleek design features a thin and lightweight metal unibody, measuring only 6.54mm thick and weighing 552g. Its unique metallic texture on the back enhances aesthetics and grip.
OPPO has also introduced accessories like the OPPO Pad 2 Smart Touchpad Keyboard and OPPO Pencil to enhance productivity. The keyboard can be magnetically paired with the tablet and offers an ergonomic 120° elevation angle. The OPPO Pencil boasts low latency and pressure sensitivity for a natural writing experience.
OPPO Pad 2 comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and will be retailing at S$799 with a free Smart Case. For accessories, the OPPO Pad 2 Smart Touchpad Keyboard is priced at S$139, the OPPO Pencil is priced at S$119 and the OPPO Pad 2 Smart Case is priced at S$59.
OPPO Pad 2 and its accessories will be available for purchase in Singapore starting from 31 August 2023 at OPPO’s Official Online Store and OPPO’s Shopee, Lazada, Qoo10, TikTok and iShopChangi flagship stores.
For a limited period between 31 August to 30 September, consumers can purchase the OPPO Pad 2 together with the OPPO Pencil and Smart Touchpad Keyboard at a discounted price of S$899, while stocks last.
