LG Electronics has announced that TIDAL, a global music and entertainment streaming platform, is now available on its smart TVs via the LG Content Store.
Compatible with 2018 to 2021 models running webOS versions 4.0 through 6.0, the TIDAL app provides high-fidelity lossless sound and Dolby Atmos through the platform’s HiFi tier as well as stunning, high-definition music videos, films, documentaries and more.
Users can enjoy over 70 million tracks across all genres and 250,000 high-quality videos – all ad-free – as well as convenient features including unlimited skips, offline plans, Artist and Track radio stations, and intuitive discovery. Users can also access thousands of playlists curated by the platform’s seasoned editorial team, music industry experts and journalists, and by the performers themselves.
At launch, LG customers will be able to enjoy a growing library of songs and albums available in Dolby Atmos. This includes notable hits such as Ariana Grande’s 7 Rings, The Weeknd’s After Hours, and Shawn Mendes’ and Camila Cabello’s duet, Señorita and 50+ customised playlists spanning a variety of genres.
