The newest addition to LG’s PuriCare lineup would be the wearable air purifier that aims to deliver conveniences and health benefits to customers’ daily lives. The new device utilises two H13 HEPA filters, similar to filters found in LG’s residential air purifiers, to prevent up to 99.95% of harmful airborne matters such as viruses and bacteria from entering the respiratory system.
The device is also equipped with a patented respiratory sensor that detects the cycle and volume of the wearer’s breathing and automatically adjusts the DUAL Fans according to three speeds, speeding up when inhaling and slowing down when exhaling.
The design of the device also helps to minimise air leakage around the nose and chin due to the extensive ergonomics facial analysis. The device is built in with a 820mAh battery which would be able to operate for 2 to 8 hours depending on the speed the device is running at.
LG have also release a product to compliment the wearable air purifier, which is the wearable air purifier case. The case is equipped with the LG’s UVnano sanitisation technology which will be able to 99.99% of harmful germs in just 30 minutes. In addition to that, the case is also able to remove moisture from internal components caused by the wearers’ breath.
The device would even be able to notify you through the LG ThinQ when the filters are due for a change. The Wearable Air Purifier Case is sold separately for S$199.
