Stay Focused With The Focus Assist Feature
As mentioned in the video, this is one of my favourite features because, sometimes after a long day of work and OT, I still have assignments piling up for me to clear. And as such, I might not always be disciplined and do my work when there are distractions – such as my friends texting me or notifications from retail stores about a sale going on! But with this focus assist feature, it helps to block out notifications.
Multi-Tasking Feature With The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7
This is the multi-tasking feature from Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 and I really enjoy using this feature very much! As you can see from the image, once you turn on this feature, it will basically help to fit your windows to the sides or corners of the screen automatically and perfectly!
I find this feature really convenient because it really helped increase my productivity during my internship! Part of my job scope includes me reading about the new product or service that my client would like to market and broadcast, so that we could design posts and campaigns for their social media platforms.
Hence it is really convenient for me as I have the information on the new products/services side by side with the editing tools I use to create posts and campaigns for my client! It is also easier for me to refer and do double-checking. As you can see from this image, this feature really saves you a lot of time!
Night Light Feature So No More Straining Of Your Eyes
The purpose of this night light feature is to display warmer colours to help you sleep better, since blue light may strain your eyes at night. You may even control the strength of the warm light; you could make it dimmer when the environment is dark, so it is less straining on your eyes.
After trying out this laptop, I realise that using the night light mode actually helps me to focus better, as the light is dimmer, warmer and not so harsh. It doesn’t strain my eyes at all, even if I’m working on something for three hours straight.
19 Hours Of Battery Life With Battery Saver Mode
For me, studying and working is quite hectic and therefore I need to make sure my laptop is always fully charged to power me through a long day of heavy usage. Thankfully, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 has a battery-saving mode to help conserve your laptop’s battery to last up to 19 hours! This battery life is long enough to get you through a flight from London to Singapore if we are allowed to travel now, haha!
Perfect For At Home Usage As Well
Although I am doing my internship now, I am also studying from home and this laptop has great sound quality as it is equipped with the 3-dimensional sound of Dolby Atmos. So whenever my lecture video is playing, the audio quality of my lecturer is always crisp and clear, which I really enjoy! Also, this laptop is pretty light for a 14-inch one, as it only weighs 1.4kg.
