Astell&Kern announces the launch of the new Astell&Kern AKT9iE, a high-end in-ear monitor (IEM) and a follow-on update to the previous AKT8iE, in partnership with high-end audio company beyerdynamic, that features a unique acoustic vent port and two-layer acoustic filter to deliver even warmer and rounder bass, and smoother highs.
The Astell&Kern AKT9iE is the successor to the very successful AKT8iE, and the third collaboration with beyerdynamic, and is also optimised for use with all Astell&Kern Digital Audio Players (DAP), with gentle trebles, full midrange and soaring highs. The AKT9iE uses beyerdynamic’s patented Tesla technology and is manufactured by hand in Germany.
Specially Designed Vent Port
The newly designed acoustic vent port in the AKT9iE is different from the simple vent hole from the AKT8iE, which uses advanced acoustic design to provide a rich bass sound.
Two-layer Acoustic Filter
The new two-layer acoustic filter in the AKT9iE is designed to provide clean trebles, while reducing ear wax accumulation.
Silver & Copper OCC Hybrid Cable
The 4N pure silver and 7N OCC hybrid 8C cable provides low electrical resistance, with dynamics and clarity for a smooth and engaging sound. 7 sizes of ear tips are provided.
