#LostInMusic
If you’re wondering just what VR has to do with music, you might want to check out Sony’s Lost In Music campaign. The campaign aims to bring the hottest Sony Music artists and groundbreaking technology to create unforgettable new musical experiences.
At the start of 2017, Sony took the idea of music transporting its listeners into a different dimension and brought it to life. The first artist collaboration, with The Chainsmokers, transformed an LA aircraft hangar into a magical winter forest. And it only got better from there.
From New York to SXSW’s Dreamscape, this year’s #LostInMusic journey takes on brand new dimensions.
A Whole New Kind Of Musical Journey Right In Your Home
For those of us not in America, that’s what VR is for!
As part of the campaign, Sony and Khalid collaborated to take fans worldwide on a journey through one of his epic music viceos. The RIAA certified 3x platinum single, Young Dumb & Broke provides the backdrop for this groundbreaking PS VR piece.
Once in the VR world, you immediately find yourself in the driver’s seat of a classic car. Khalid then welcomes you personally, in the phenomenal superstar’s first VR appearance ever. He brings you on an amazing trip through cityscapes, the far reaches of the cosmos, and high school football fields.
You can look forward to all sorts of things in this VR trip. From swarms of jellyfish to gargantuan orbiting planets, there are surprises upon surprises in store. This is more than just a music experience, made possible through the power of PS VR.
The Khalid Young Dumb & Broke VR experience will be released for PlayStation VR on the PlayStation Store on 29th March 2018. You can download it for free!
