The third season of the highly anticipated esports event of the year is right around the corner – Legion of Champions is back!
NXT is the official media partner for the event, and in case you don’t already know, Legion of Champions (LOC) is an international Esports competition. Eleven teams from as many countries go head to head and battle it out for the grand prize of $US35,000.
There will be competitions in all 11 participating nations to find the cream of the crop, who will then fly over to Bangkok, Thailand for the penultimate round of button-mashing mayhem.
Last year’s Season 2 edition of LOC saw seven countries competing: Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Indonesia with a total of nine teams battling it out for the US$15,000 prize pool.
Team “Argma” from Hong Kong brought came out on top, with Philippines’ “Wargods” coming in as runner-ups, and Fire Dragoon from Malaysia in third place.

All you need is a working email address and password of your choosing to join as an individual. If you want to create a team, you’ll to provide a Garena ID, an in-game name, phone number, your Facebook URL, and an identification photo.
Online qualifiers will he held on 1 and 2 December 2018 (Saturday and Sunday), with offline qualifications scheduled for 8 December 2018 (Saturday).
